Patrol Stories
Patrol Stories is a school program that uses interactive, concert-style shows and adventures to teach K-5th-grade students about safety, unity, and positive interactions with law enforcement. The program aims to build trust between students and first responders by covering topics like 911 safety, bullying, safety topics, and mental health in a fun and engaging way!

Creature Teacher
The PTA is excited to bring The Creature Teacher to Lykins Elementary for an in-school program! Students will have the opportunity to meet amazing live animals up close while learning about their habitats, behaviors, and the importance of caring for our environment. This fun, educational experience is sure to spark curiosity and excitement in every classroom!

Once Upon A Lunch - A Grandparents Day Celebration
In honor of Grandparents Day, we’re inviting grandparents and special guests to join their students for lunch at the Book Fair! Bring lunch, shop together, and enjoy a magical time celebrating reading and family. It’s the perfect way to make memories, share stories, and honor the special role grandparents play.
Adults must bring lunch from home or an outside vendor. They are welcome to bring lunch for their student as well!

Lykins Fall Book Fair
Get ready for our Fall Book Fair! Each class will have a designated time to shop during the school day, and families can also visit together at Back to School Bash. On Wednesday we’ll celebrate Grandparents Day with Once Upon a Lunch, where grandparents are invited to shop and share lunch with their students.
Parents, we’d love your help! There are volunteer opportunities throughout the week—and volunteers receive 20% off purchases.

Meet the Bobcats at the Stadium
Celina's “Meet the Bobcats and Bobcat Tailgate” is a long-standing tradition that kicks off the new school year and football season at Celina High School's Bobcat Stadium! It is a community event that brings together students, families, and local businesses to support the school's sports teams and organizations, like our school’s PTA. You will be able to interact with the football team + other athletes and enjoy festivities like performances from the band and cheerleaders! We hope to see you there!
